IZZA begins with the moment the Medina gives way. The streets are loud, close and alive, then the door opens and the pace changes. Inside, Marrakech becomes quieter, more personal, and held with the care of a generous private house.

IZZA begins with the Medina. The narrow streets, the noise, the families, the artisans, the smell of the souks, then a door opens and the city changes. Inside are seven historic riads shaped into one house, with fourteen rooms, three courtyards, rooftop dining, Bill’s Bar and an art collection that carries Marrakech’s creative past into the present. It is less a hotel to pass through than a house that lets the city in.

Seven historic riads stitched into one house in the old city.
A fourteen room house where art, hospitality and the Medina meet.
Travellers moved by food, craft, people and the life behind the Medina’s doors.
A quiet threshold between Marrakech’s energy and its hidden interior life.
Over 300 works carried through rooms, corridors and shared spaces.

IZZA’s rooms feel less like categories and more like characters within the house. Spread across restored riads in the Medina, each one carries a different creative reference, from Saint Laurent and Grace Jones to Talitha Getty and Jack Kerouac. Moroccan craft, contemporary art, colour, texture and old-house proportions make every room feel individual rather than repeated.
Yves. It carries one of Marrakech’s strongest creative threads. Saint Laurent came to the city and let its colour change the way he saw. For a first stay at IZZA, it feels right.

Food at IZZA moves between rooftop dining, Moroccan flavour and the slower rhythm of the Medina. Noujoum brings breakfast, lunch and dinner above the riads, while Bill’s Bar gives the house a more intimate evening mood.

Noujoum is IZZA’s rooftop restaurant, with a menu shaped by Moroccan cooking, Mediterranean influence and the produce available from Marrakech’s markets. Rather than feeling fixed, the food moves with the season, from tagines and daily couscous to grilled fish, vegetables and slower dishes made for sharing above the riads.

IZZA is best experienced slowly: through its riads, rooftops, artworks, pool and the Medina just outside the door. Days can stay within the house or move into Marrakech, with the hotel acting as a calm base between the city’s noise and its quieter hidden corners.

IZZA is shaped by the people, materials and creative life of Marrakech. The house brings together Moroccan hospitality, local artisanship, vintage furniture, contemporary art and the quiet skill of makers who understand the Medina from the inside. The craft is not added for atmosphere. It is how the house speaks.

IZZA began as a collection of historic houses in the Medina, brought together and restored into something intimate, layered and deeply personal. The hotel is shaped by Moroccan craft, contemporary art, rooftop life and the feeling of moving through a private home rather than a conventional hotel. Its story is not only in the rooms, but in the courtyards, stairways, mosaics, artworks and quiet corners that make the place feel discovered rather than designed all at once.
IZZA sits inside Marrakech’s Medina, hidden within a series of restored riads close to the souks, rooftops, gardens and old city life. It gives you the intensity of Marrakech outside the door, then a quieter world of courtyards, pool, art and terraces once you step back inside.
